The HR Team and I had breakfast at Fumé Neighborhood Eatery in Downtown Dubai. It was the boss' way of also thanking us for a job well done lately.
What's my discovery?
atmosphere / ambiance
The interior and overall design is rustic with lots of wood, use of cast-iron skillets and tin cans, and classic lines with a splash of color here and there. They have seating on both the ground and first floor. But during the cool winter months, the best place to sit is outside with the perfect view of the Burj Khalifa and the Boulevard.
food / beverage
The food was great. I ordered The Benedict (poached eggs on brioche bun, spinach & dill Hollandaise, and smoke salmon and salmon caviar) and a cappuccino. And I had no regrets.
staff / service
The staff was warm and accommodating, and it did not take long for the staff to serve the food and beverage for all seven (7) of us.
100-150 AED per person
Overall, it was a convenient and relaxing breakfast outside, and we enjoyed the company and the view.
