By coincidence, I arrived in New York City on the first day Winter Solstice. The goal for these two (2) weeks was just to enjoy some much needed R&R and stay toasty after a busy year at work in Dubai. I spent most of the time in front of the TV catching up on TV series...

My 5-day trip in Jordan visiting Petra, Wadi Musa, Wadi Araba, and Dead Sea, and reuniting with my childhood best friend in Amman

The Phantom of the Opera is one of the longest running musicals in history. In its 33rd year, it had finally arrived in Dubai. Initially, I thought that the ticket was almost as expensive as Broadway (if not more) so I thought, with a heavy heart, I'd pass for now and...

Anyone who grew up on Bible stories will find it interesting to know that Noah's Arc apparently landed on Mount Ararat after the Great Deluge. Armenians are said to be Noah's direct descendants and as it transpired in history, Armenia is also the first country in the w...

Here comes round 2 of Summer in New York City! There's still so much to do and so much to see in this vibrant city that's becoming one of my most favorite in the world. There's just nothing like it!

Although it was more of a relaxing trip (after months and months of bac...

It's the lucky number 7 for Dubai Miracle Garden when it recently received another Guinness Book of World Record for its 7th season's tallest topiary, an 18-foot 35-ton Mickey Mouse (made up of over 100,000 flowers) to celebrate his 90th anniversary. And lucky for me,...

Without a doubt, like many, I am a Disney kid and a Potterhead. So, naturally, part of my trip planning would include finding places and activities that have to do with Disney movies and Harry Potter. And New York City is the perfect place to do that as there are many...

I will keep this simple and sweet like Halloween candies. No ghouls or ghosts, black cats or boiling cauldrons, spooky spells or haunted houses. But perhaps a few pumpkins. And definitely, a girl and the memories she made in her favorite city at her favorite time of th...

Rats! 2020 really threw a huge curve ball no one saw coming (except, of course, for the scientists and epidemiologists).

Nothing much to share at this time. What's important now is we:

   Stay home.

   Wear a mask.

   Practice social distancing.

   Stay safe.

We will get to see the world soon, my dear friends.
